Frog Cables Shipping Policy

This delivery policy is hereby incorporated into and forms part of our agreement with you. You must read this policy together with our Terms and Conditions.

Place your order by 04.30pm Monday to Friday for same day dispatch. All orders after these times will be dispatched the next working day. We do not dispatch any orders on Saturdays or Sundays.

Place of delivery

Frog Cables delivers door-to-door to all ten provinces within Zimbabwe. On check out, you will need to indicate the physical address and area code within Zimbabwe where you require delivery, as well as contact numbers to be used in connection with the delivery.

Please ensure that you provide us with your daytime delivery details as products are typically delivered during working hours between 8:00 – 17:00.

We do not deliver to PO Box addresses.

Your parcel will be delivered to the physical address you specified in the checkout process. If nobody is present at that address at the time of delivery, our courier partner will attempt to deliver the goods a maximum of 3 times before returning them to the Frog Cables Online Store. 

Delivery Fees and Free Shipping Rules

All orders over $500.oo qualify for FREE Standard Shipping within Harare. For orders under $500.00 shipping charges will be calculated on the checkout page, according to the weight of your basket and area code.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a registered Frog Cables trade customer free shipping is unfortunately not available at this time.

Delivery Time Frames

With Standard Shipping to major centres, and when orders are placed during the calendar week (Mon-Fri) with no public holiday interference, you will receive your order between 48 – 72 hours after the order process has been completed and payment is confirmed, this may vary depending on your location.

Deliveries outside of major centres can expect to be received between 48 – 96 hours after the order process has been completed and payment is confirmed. Orders placed on Weekends or where a Public Holiday interferes will take longer to be delivered.

Delivery times are calculated from when your order is dispatched from our warehouse and not when your order is placed. Please contact us should you have any questions relating to delivery.

Shipping Errors
We take the utmost care when despatching all orders, however should we make a mistake, we apologise.

Policy Conditions:

  • The incorrect product can be returned to Frog Cables for a credit.
  • The return request must be made within 7 days from receipt of shipment.
  • Products must be in their original, unused condition and in the original box and packaging.  This is an extremely strict policy, products not in their original condition run the risk of being rejected.
  • The total value of the return will be credited to your account.
  • The freight charge for Shipping Errors is at Frog Cables cost.

 

Please note that the onus is on you to ensure that the product you order is appropriate for its intended use and / or application.

If the incorrect product has been delivered to you by mistake (i.e. it is not the product that you ordered), please do not remove the product from its original packaging, open or use the product in any way.

Please promptly email sales@frogcables.co.zw to notify us so that we can resolve the mistake by arranging to collect the incorrect product from you and deliver the correct product to you, as quickly as possible.

Other Returns or Exchanges

Please note that the 6 month CPA warranty does not entitle you to return a product for no reason.

Please further note that Frog Cables will not accept return or exchange goods in any circumstances other than those contemplated under the CPA or ECTA, unless Frog Cables within its discretion determines that faulty goods are covered by a particular supplier or manufacturer’s warranty.

Please note that:

▪   products will need to be inspected and tested by the supplier (and are subject to our in-house inspection) before a replacement / refund will be offered;
▪   products damaged due to inappropriate use or wear and tear will not be covered under this returns policy. Further, no credit will be issued on product(s) found to be obsolete, returned damaged, re-machined products or where there is obvious evidence that the product(s) were tampered with or altered. In such case, you will be notified of our findings;
▪   if the return is being made because of a factory error or defective material, depending on the outcome of our inspection, credit will be issued to cover the cost of the product(s) and the delivery charges;
▪   if our inspection and testing determines that the returned product(s) are not defective then a handling fee will be charged. Customers will be notified of this and asked how they want the product(s) couriered back to them in this instance. On the day the customer is notified, he/she will have fourteen days to inform us how they want the product(s) returned to them. In the event the customer does not respond to us within the fourteen days, we will discard the product(s) and no credit will be issued.
▪    If a refund has been authorised and processed, kindly allow up to two weeks for the money to reflect in your bank account.

Please note that under no circumstances can we accept any responsibility or liability for late or delayed exchanges and / or returns.

▪ it is your responsibility to ensure that we receive written notice of cancellation within 7 days of your receipt of the goods;

▪ you will need to arrange the return of the goods to us and will be liable for the cost of returning the goods to us (which will be off-set against the refund of purchase price); and

▪ the goods must be in the original packaging and must not have been used or damaged.

Faulty Products

Should the product be faulty it can be returned to Frog Cables under the below Policy Conditions:

Policy Conditions:

  • All products must be installed by a licensed electrical tradesman / technician.
  • The fault has occurred within the products warranty period
  • The warranty period is listed within “specifications” under each product.
  • Invoice/receipt must be returned with the product to verify the date of purchase.
  • All components relating to the product must be returned.
  • If a credit is provided, products will be credited at their most recent purchased price.
  • The total value of the return will be credited to your account and will be offset against future orders.
  • Frog Cables to cover cost for return freight charge on all verified faulty products.
