John’s impact extended beyond the borders of Zimbabwe, influencing projects and markets across the SADC region. 💼 His leadership played a pivotal role in significant initiatives, such as the development of Zimbabwe’s first railway system and the transition from Analogue to Digital Telecommunications Systems. 🔌

In 1995, John founded Frog Cables, laying the foundation for its growth and success in the years to come. 🐸 His strategic vision, technical knowledge, and global experience were instrumental in shaping the company’s trajectory. 🌐

Outside of his professional endeavors, John was a passionate farmer, known for his expertise in tomato cultivation and livestock management. 🌱 His dedication to agriculture earned him numerous accolades, including awards for Producer of the Year, Supplier of the Year, and Farmer of the Year. 🏆

Virginia Mukaro

Human Resources & Financial Director

Virginia Mukaro is a dedicated leader entrusted with ensuring the stability of Frog Cables’ finances. 🌟 With a wealth of experience and expertise, Virginia oversees financial operations, assesses market trends, and identifies solutions to potential challenges. Her role involves preparing detailed reports for management, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions regarding investments and budgets.

Prior to her current position at Frog Cables, Virginia embarked on a diverse career journey. She began her professional endeavors in the 1980s, serving as a Midwife in Intensive Care for the Government of Zimbabwe. Later, she transitioned to the Harare City Council, where she held the role of Community Health Nurse. Virginia’s dedication to preventive care and health education significantly impacted the communities she served.

In addition to her nursing career, Virginia actively engaged in advocacy and leadership roles. She played an integral part in organizations such as the Zimbabwe Nurses Association and Public Services International, advocating for gender equity and good governance on both national and international levels. 💼

Virginia’s commitment to continuous learning led her to pursue further education while working at Frog Cables. She obtained her CIMA Degree (Chartered Institute of Management Accounting) from Speciss College, enhancing her skills and knowledge in financial management.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Virginia is deeply involved in her faith, family, and community. She volunteers her time to various charitable initiatives and offers guidance to young couples and individuals. 💡
